Pensions & Investments and Oxford University have launched a survey exploring institutional investors’ long-term investment beliefs.

The survey looks to gauge investors’ understanding of those beliefs so they can better identify the hard-to-pinpoint risk and return opportunities that generate long-term outperformance.

Executives at pension funds, foundations, endowments and sovereign wealth funds as well as investment managers and investment consultants are invited to participate in the survey. Responses are anonymous.

An analysis of the results will be done by Oxford’s research team under the leadership of Gordon Clark, the Halford Mackinder professor of geography at Oxford’s Centre for the Environment, Oxford, England.

Survey responses are anonymous. The survey closes June 15. To participate, go to:

Results will be published July 23.

Professor Gordon Clark is a member of an expert reference group convened by the Australian Centre for Financial Studies for the Melbourne Mercer Global Pension Index.
